Emotional Intelligence is a collection of personal and social skills that contribute to people thriving in healthy organizations. Emotionally Intelligent leadership can revitalize an organization in decline and emotional stupidity can take a healthy organization and drive it into the ground and ruin the career of the stupid person. For our work the persons we are evaluating is women and the organizations we are looking at are families. The relationships are their roles as wife and mothers.
A key concept to this work is people are emotionally intelligent all through their lives. If you see someone that is not emotionally intelligent in their personal life you cannot trust them to be so in their professional life.
