The Invasive Parent meets their emotional wants (not needs) with a child that should be met by another adult. She damages adult relationships by her own hand due to her due to her lack of emotional intelligence, perfidy, and codependant sabotage. The adult perpetrator is unwilling change and make the effort to maintain a responsible adult relationship. Lacing Emotional Intelligence, they groom a child for the role of a replacement partner and become enmeshed with them.
