Ownership

A Thinking Error. You don’t really recognize that there is such a thing as theft. If you are looking at it and want it, it’s yours (including human beings). You don’t recognize that other people own things. You consider yourself a decent person with a right to have anything that suits you—you deserve to have it. Also, you see people as pawns or checkers waiting to be dealt with as you wish. You justify taking from others by saying “they don’t need it as much as me.” “They don’t deserve it.” “They don’t care if I have it.”
