Social Skills

Social Skills are the part of Emotional Intelligence that allow us to improve upon how we manage others. It has two domains (Social Adeptness and Empathy) and twelve sub-domains. These supplement the Personal Skills which are how we manage ourselves. In the original framework Social Adeptness was also called a Social Skill so I renamed it for clarity.
The Social Adeptness Domain has the subdomains of:
- Influence Wielding
- Communication
- Conflict Management
- Building Bonds
- Team Building
- Change Catalyst &
- Collaborating
Empathy has the Sub Domains of:
- Understanding
- Service Orientation
- Developing Others
- Leveraging Diversity &
- Political Awareness
