Standard Public Education (SPE) is not gender responsive (especially to boys), staffed largely be abusive and neglectful women that reenforce anti-social expectations and undermine pro-social values. It is similar to the Standard American Diet, everyone knows it is unhealthy, but it is just so damn convenient. It has fallen to the Iron Law of Oligarchy and no longer serves its students. Through agency capture SPE is more of a jobs program for abusive and neglectful women in unions. It is also a way for politicians to politically rent-seek.
